Saving the harvest is one of the best parts of summer.  This 90 minute workshop will take you through the basic principles of small batch home water bath canning by showing you how to can salsa using fresh tomatoes from Coyote Ridge Homestead.  

Lindsay has been canning her own produce for over 10 years and it is a regular part of the season here at the homestead.  What you will learn in this workshop can be applied to canning other produce and for making sauces, jams, and jellies.  


You will leave with a pint of freshly canned salsa.  Children over 8 years of age are welcome to register when accompanied by an adult.
